It has been so much fun watching this little dolly grow to be TWO FANCY. She brings so much light to life whether in a tutu with cowgirl boots, her Husker gear or even just a cute tee and sandals. And, in typical Bristal fashion, she smiled the entire time, and gave us all kinds of adorable poses.
Happy 2nd birthday, sweetie!
Mr. Weston is one! And, when it is your party, you can cry if you want to. When we sat him down by himself, this handsome little guy may have had some of the biggest alligator tears on this side of the Mississippi. We pulled some tricks from our sleeves and were able to capture some big, happy, toothy smiles amongst the teary eyes. So precious is this little man’s love for his mama!
Happy 1st birthday, Weston!
If I could go back and write a letter to my seventeen-year-old self, I would advise me to be more like seventeen-year-old Sara. She is naturally kind-hearted, full of good humor, and simply brilliant. This beautiful young women has travelled to Ecuador twice and, recently, Japan for most of the past summer, not to mention various other trips within the states. She is mature beyond her years, and her good-natured personality is super contagious. I couldn’t help but have a great time with her during the entire session, though all I really wanted to do was pick her brain about Japan. She says we can chat anytime!
Enjoy this big year, Sara, I predict there are even bigger things ahead for you!
Marshal’s senior session took me to his hometown of Belvidere where we were able to get some pretty awesome shots around the old schoolhouse. Then we ventured to an old barn in the country, and that was pretty cool, too. Our last stop was the old bridge on the south side of town. I’m glad the water was low enough to allow us to get under the bridge for some pretty cool lighting and backdrops. Then Marshal threw a frog up to his mom on the bridge.
The end. Hah! Have a great senior year, Marshal!
Precious little Delaney Ann is 7 months old! We held off on her 6 month milestone until she was able to sit up all by herself. She was so proud of herself, and pretty darn cute about it, too – all smiles! She wore the same adorable dress her big sister wore around the same age, and when the pictures are side by side, it is almost difficult to tell the two apart.
It was good to see you, Delaney. It is so fun to watch you grow!
