Curly, little pigtails and bright, sparkly eyes – that’s what little girls are made of!  It’s been so fun to watch Emily grow from a tiny, pink newborn to a spunky, curious little two-year-old.  We had fun shaking pom poms and blowing bubbles.  I’m sure she keeps her mommy and daddy on their toes!

This little nugget turns three today!  It seems like just yesterday he was one of my guinea pig newborns…and such a patient one at that.  He slept through most of that day, but here, three years later, he has kicked napping to the curb completely!  He is always on the go ‘doing work’ with his trucks and tractors, playing make believe with is big bro and big sis, or sweetly holding hands with his little sis.

My precious God-daughter/niece is 6 month old, folks!  She is such a sweet little peach.  Okay, so this could be a little corny, but sometimes when I think of her, I think of the song, “I’ve the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart!”  When her mama was still pregnant with her, she asked Callie’s big brother, Barrett, what they should name their baby girl, and he replied, “Joy!”  This quickly became the perfect middle name for this sweet little bundle of joy, and it fits her just right.

Our sweetie-petey niece, Leah Marie, is three months old already!  It seems like just yesterday we were meeting her in the hospital.  She is quite a content little pumpkin with a fabulous head of thick, dark hair.  It reminds me so much of our Shelby’s head of hair.  As she grows, it is so fun to pick out different characteristics of both sides of her family.
