It was great to see the Shaws again this year! I got to meet and photograph them last year for the first time, so it was a privilege to get to see how the kiddos have grown over the past year and hear what is going on in their lives. Have a great school year, Shaw family!

Trev & Kalli began their marriage by hosting one heck of a party for all of their dear family and friends! Packing the church and reception hall full of their people and having lots of great food and drinks to go around, you could tell these two could not wait to share the day with everyone. There was laughter, there were tears of joy, and there was dancing. So much dancing! I pray these two always find as much joy in each other as they did on the day they said “I do.” Welcome to the rest of your lives, T + K! What a beautiful July day it was for Charles & Tristen to get married! Though the weather outside was hot, everyone kept cool inside and just enjoyed each other’s company. It was easy to see that Charles & Tristen were made for each other. They handled a couple minor pre-wedding-day hiccups with such grace and ease because they knew the focus was on each other. And, what better way to start a marriage than with an understanding that everything may not always be perfect, but life is still so sweet – especially when you can spend it with your true love. What a fun session we had for Chase’s senior photos! First we started with his family’s shiny, orange Chevy pickup, which is just so so fun. Then we stopped at the local dam for some water photos and ended at an old airbase for some out-of-this-world shots! Chase was so easy-going the entire time, and I think his optimistic personality just beams through these images. It is Miss Sophia’s turn for her pictures with the tractor gifted from her Grandpa and Grandma H! And, she gets something a little extra special. So far, her other, older cousins have all received John Deere Tractors, but this time, they are remembering Great Grandpa and the red tractors he used to have on the farm. I think she looks darling in the red, and of course we had to add in some Husker cheering! |
