I would love for you to meet the Shaner family. They moved to town earlier this year, and I am so glad they did! We have already had some awesome playdates, met their chickens, and as soon as I found out Elizabeth was also a photographer, I knew I wanted to take their family pictures and have her take ours. They have been such a great addition to our little community already, and I look forward to years of memories with them as our kiddos grow! Welcome to neighborhood, Shaner fam!
I would love for you to meet our newest baby doll, Hadley! Our little muffin is the most precious way to round out our family of six in a way I have dreamed of since I was a little girl myself.
Her middle name, Rosemary, is one that I have had tucked in my back pocket ever since we were pregnant with our two older boys. My grandmas were Rose Marie and Mary, so it is very special for me to name our Hadley after both of them. Both women were some of the strongest I have ever had in my life. They were farm wives & mothers of four and five children. I think about them a lot and wonder what life was like for them years ago as they raised their families through life’s ups and downs. My Grandma Rose Marie passed away earlier this year, so I’m thankful to have had her in my life into my adult years, and while I only got nine sweet years on this earth with my Grandma Mary, she made a very big impact on me in those short years.
In the past few weeks, our hearts have melted all over this little girl. She gives me the best smiles and coos when we’re up for her 4am diaper change and bottle. Big sister Shelby is over the moon to have a little sister, and I’ve already found Hadley with dress up clothes laid on top of her. Her dark brown eyes make her look soo much like bigger brother Dawson, and all he wants to do is carry her everywhere. Big brother Rhett wants to ‘nuggle any chance he gets. And, since it is crazy harvest season, Daddy squeezes in snuggles in the early morning and late at night whenever he can. I even overheard him whisper to her not to grow so she would still be tiny when harvest was over.
Meet sweet Miss Delilah! This gallery gave me all the feels as I was working though it! Delilah’s mama and my dear friend, Kelly, and I found out we were both pregnant about the same time, and then after one long, hot summer, we welcomed our baby girls just days apart! She is the perfect little addition to their family, and I can’t wait for our kiddos to all grow up together. And, you have to check out her beautiful blonde locks; they are darling!! Congrats Schardt family, enjoy your baby girl!

Oh, the Schroeder Fam! This is my sweet sister-in-law and her cozy little crew. I love getting to do so much life with them from holidays, birthday parties, and even the hard times are made a little easier with them in our corner. I just love the Vosses! I first got to meet them when their #3 was just a new baby, then we both had a baby within days of each other, and I have had the privilege of photographing their family each year since. I always enjoy our conversations about raising our kiddos and farm life. It was great to work with you all again this summer, Voss fam! Enjoy!
