From the moment I met Renae, I knew I wanted to be her friend so bad! Fast forward 10+ years, and I am beyond thankful God has given me her and her family for a whole decade now! Sometimes our friendship looks like a family get-together as the kids run wild, or maybe a quick girls night out, and recently it looks like lifeline texts when the hubbies are still in the field for what seems like forever and you just need someone to relate.
Heinrichses, you make life so much better! Happy holidays!

Here is Gretchen and her awesome family! I first had the privilege of photographing them as a family a handful of years ago and then again when Gabe was a senior. Now it was Gretchen’s turn to be in the spotlight. She looked so beautiful, especially in the warm sunset. Gabe was able to get some really good smiles from her with their little lingo the twins have between the two of them, and mention of any “Beatles” song always makes Gretchen grin. We also took some family photos,
and even the family dog, Sam, made it in a few photos.
Enjoy the rest of the fall season, Elting fam!

How adorable are TJ & Ashley?! I just loved everything about their fall engagement session from the colors Ashley chose to the warmer-than-usual November sunset and the way these two light up each other’s eyes. They are always up for a fun time, and I am already looking forward to their summer wedding next August! Congrats, TJ & Ash!

I am a fall gal through and through, and I wait for October all year long to enjoy bright orange pumpkins, the gorgeous array of turning leaves, and all the darling families I am able to get in front of my lens. It is a season of change and harvest and knowing the holidays are coming, and in my opinion, it is the small timeframe leading up to those holidays that can actually be more enjoyable to just enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the autumn season in its midst.
And, it is a time to enjoy our families in their midst,
in whatever current “season” we are living.
