I was elated when asked to take prom photos this year! First of all, I was so excited for the kids that they would be able to have prom this year. And, I always love seeing the girls’ pretty dresses and the boys dressed up so sharply. I have gotten to know some of them over the past few years, and I know that they all work hard in school and their activities.

The Haug family was troopers on the very windy day of their photo shoot! They had scoped out a spot behind the cedars at their farm that made it just right to capture these beauties of their family. I first got to know Spencer & Kelsey’s family when Weston was just a new baby, then I blinked, and baby sis Addi is already one! It was so fun to get to capture both of their spunky personalities surrounded by the people who love them the most and vice versa. Little Maverick is one! He is so sweet and attentive. He loved dancing and clapping along to me trying to sing, and he gave us some of the biggest grins to “If You’re Happy & You Know It!” I just love that he brought along his collection of jungle friends that made for such a cute set for his photos. And, as you’ll see in the second set, he was all about the Cheerios! Happy 1st birthday, little Mav man! Cora Leigh is already half way to her first birthday! She is such a content little sweet pea. I cannot say enough good things about this sweet, hard-working family. I had the privilege to first work with them a handful of years ago. One look at their life and you can see they truly enjoy every minute of what they do together on their family farm. And the way Bill & Gina have raised their wonderful daughters is the epitome of the American Dream. |
