Clad in his plaid, gun in hand, truck washed & shined and dog at his boots, Blake was ready to hit the dirt road. That we did. We drove up north of his home place and found one of my new, favorite, hidden spots, and it even had a pond! His three younger brothers were around at one point or another, just doing what country boys do, and it was fun to see Blake as the leader of the pack.

The color of the day was green. Boy, does this young man have the greenest eyes I’ve ever seen! He was such a good sport as we began his session on the green baseball field then the green park, green army tank, on to green tractors, and lastly we worked our way to one of his family’s green cornfields. He’s another local senior who is busy in many activities, and yet he finds a way to balance it all.

Colton is definitely one of the good ol’ boys you can always count on. He’s active in the community as a boy scout, member of his church, and helping his family farm. He does this all while balancing just about every school activity available. It’s very cool to see how close he is with all his family, and his pretty lil’ sis even hopped in for a few pictures.
Music: Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen I’d like to introduce to you handsome Mr. Hayden. He’s got the tiniest little cry that will just melt your heart. At the beginning of his session, he made sure to keep an eye on us to make sure Mommy and Daddy weren’t going anywhere, but by the end of the session he was dreaming sweet dreams. There’s a fun little surprise at the end of this post to give you a glimpse of his good dreams.
