Welcome Miss Livia!  It was just weeks ago, the family was making predictions if #3 was a boy, girl or 3rd monster, and well, we now know for sure that it is a beautiful little she!  And, she slept so well while we were taking pictures that she probably didn’t even notice I was there.  She just sweetly snuggled and even gave us a few smirks.  You can tell her bothers are smitten over her…and Mom, too.

You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl!  I am so glad Carlee and Kyle wanted to have their engagement pics done “back home” in the glow of the setting Nebraska sun, amidst the harvest-ready corn, snuggled up near a hay bale.  We had such a fun evening capturing only a glimpse of this exciting time in their lives.  I so cannot wait for their wedding next May!

God knows the love is so hot between these two firefighters that he had better send rain on their wedding day to prevent a full on fire.  And, that’s just what he did, but it was a beautiful, rainy wedding day for Thomas and Haley.  Surrounded by closest family and dearest friends, these two said “I do” for forever.  And, they sure know how to throw a good party!

Meet LeAnna!  She is “that” senior for me.  The one that makes me officially feel old enough to be an entire decade from her generation, and I don’t mean that in a bad way.  When still a kid myself, I remember this girl as a tiny, pink, squishy newborn when her parents and sisters were handing out Hershe”is” chocolate bars. I remember babysitting for this sweet girl as a toddler and mixing up more sippies of (strawberry) “pink milk” than I can count.  Her favorite!  In the blink of an eye she’s grown into a beautiful young woman with the world at her fingertips.
Wherever life may take us, we’ll always be “Pilger girls.”
I had such a fun time photographing you, LeAnna.  I wish you an extraordinary senior year!

This past weekend in a huge cabin, I got to spend a few days with most of my best college friends who are turning families.  This little guy just happened to turn 1 at the end of September, and I am so glad we were able to be together for me to take his pictures and some of his fam.  He is such a sweet little boy, hardly ever making a peep unless he is tired or hungry.  He has started walking a few weeks ago, and there is no stopping him now!
