All of a sudden our little man is 3!?! His photo shoot this year was brought to us by a piglet because I’m just not sure what else we could incorporate that would bring out his biggest smiles.  This past year has been a big one for this small dude.  He has become super independent and sneaks out of the house to the pig barns absolutely any chance he can get.  “Little Ryan” we call him, though he does still resemble his Uncle Nicholas an awful lot, too.  His daddy has to prop up a bucket full of rocks next to the back door just to keep him safe in the house on days when trucks and tractors are frequently in the driveway.  His raspy little voice totally wins me over when he throws out new words from his ever-expanding vocabulary, and he has learned the art of talking and smiling with his eyes.  He completely steals my heart every day.

We love you so much, Dawson Kevin!  Now, please stay in the house.  Happy 3rd birthday, big guy!

Miss Hallie is six months old!  She has such a sweet smile and soft, milky baby skin.  I could snuggle her for days!!  She is also sitting up on her own so well and was on the verge of showing me how to crawl during her session.  Then we brought her mom and dad into the pictures, and she really had a ball.  You can tell she loves them so and vice versa.

After a long, rainy week, the sun popped out for a perfect evening I got to spend with the Kempfs!  All three boys brought with them an overload of cuteness and a little bit of spunk.  Toward the end of the session, mom let the bigger boys change into plain t-shirts and pull out their ball & gloves.  That’s when the cuteness really started!  I loved their big grins as they tossed the ball back and forth and showed me their best pitching forms.  They have an excellent summer ahead!

I just love the tradition this grandpa and grandma have started with their grandchildren when they turn three. They give each of the kiddos their own pedal tractor, then have their pictures taken and made into a collage – how thoughtful!  Here is handsome Mr. Laik with his brand spankin’ new pedal tractor.  I believe he’s grandchild #5, and he’s full of sweet little boy smiles and curious spunk.

This warm, sunny family session refreshed my soul as it was my first spring session of the season, and I could not have asked for a better family to spend it with.  Little man, Gage, was such a cutie patootie as he loved on his mom and showed his ornery side with dad.  I am so excited for this family to become a party of four any day now.  I know they are all eager to meet their baby girl!  I wish you the best with her arrival and have a great summer, Ramsey Fam!
