My little sweetness of a niece turned 18 months toward the end of summer, and it was so fun to capture this time of her life.  She has the quietest little grin, and I just love the little bob her hair has grown.  At the ripe ol’ age of 18 months, she is becoming a shoe girl already as she loved showing off her little gold bow flats to me as she was getting ready for pictures. And, the rest of the family got in on the photo shoot, too!  They are adorable!

Oh, the Edgar family!  I just love when these four come to see me.  Jayda does such a great job of dressing up all of them.  Those handsome little blonde boys look like they’re straight out of a Carter’s clothing ad.  Big brother Grayson with his subtle dimple can melt any lady’s heart, and little Madix plays hard-to-get with his smiles but is just a sweet as pie.  Then, there’s the undeniable chemistry between Garrett & Jayda which is the cherry on top for this awesome family.  It was so good to see you all again, have a great fall season!

Meet the Folkerts Family!  Thankfully, we lucked out with a beautiful day and a small break from the rain to take family pictures.  I had the chance to get to know mom, Julie, in a Bible study a few years ago, and I have heard many stories about the kids and grandkids and how the family has grown over those years.  It was a fun opportunity to finally meet them all and see the family together.

I had the privilege of working with Gabe and his family a couple years ago to take his family’s pictures, and I was honored to be asked to take his senior pictures this fall.  Right off the bat, we realized we both are both fans of the comedy TV show The Big Bang Theory.  We spent most of his session reciting and listening to hilarious lines from the show, and it made for great, authentic smiles.
I had a blast taking your senior pictures, Gabe, and reminiscing all those memorable Big Bang episodes.  Have a great senior year!

From her wispy blonde curls to sucking her thumb, this little girl is sure an active, little dolly!  Any time something new would catch her attention, she would grab for her mama’s hand as if to say, “Let’s go, mom!”  Then she would bounce up on her feet and away she would go.  She also really enjoys bubbles, snacks and playing with animals.  Making the sound of a monkey seemed to another favorite!
It has been so fun seeing you grow from a tiny newborn to now, sweet Maria.  Happy 1st birthday!
