Little Miss Irelynn is one year old today! It has been so fun to see her little personality develop over her first year.  She is raring to go with her first steps and loves keeping her puppy nearby.  And, it’s undeniable that her Mommy and Daddy love her so so much!  Each time we run into her Daddy at the grocery store, it’s really cute how he loves giving updates on Irelynn’s latest tricks and milestones.

Happy 1st birthday, sweet girl!

Lovely Miss Lydia rounded out my senior season so beautifully.  I first met her back before Ryan and I married.  I think of a few wedding pictures of our reception with 10-year old Lydia present, back when then she was merely a face and a name.  But, over the past seven years, I have been blessed to get to know her and her sweet family through her mom’s Bible study.  Lydia has got one of the most beautiful souls I know, and I cannot wait to see where the Lord takes her in life!  Reach and touch the sky, Lydia!

Sweet Miss Ellie is three!  And, as tradition goes, she has received her John Deere pedal tractor from Grandpa and Grandma H!  During her session, we had so much fun chatting about what she was going to be for Halloween.  We played a guessing game for me to figure out what her costume was, and finally toward the end, I got it right – Rapunzel!  However, I definitely love her real little blonde bob that she has, and those sparkly blue eyes are definitely a cherry on top!
Enjoy being three, Ellie!  You are the cutest!

There are two things I really, really like about taking senior pictures in the fall…cooler temperatures and amazing foliage colors!  Cade was a trooper as I scouted out a bunch of awesome spots right around his hometown.  Then, at the end of the session, he directed me to an cool, old bridge just a bit out in the country.  He showed his fearless side as he monkeyed on over the ledge to sit on a large beam, practically dangling over the water.  He was much braver than I would be, and it made for some awesome shots!  Have a great senior year, Cade, stay fearless!

I had such a great time working with this family for the fourth straight year in a row.  It is quite something to see how they may change from year to year, yet some things, like kindness and positivity, remain the same.  What is even better, is they begin to feel like family, and I very much appreciate the conversations we share.
Enjoy this season of the year and in life – it was sooo good to see you all!
