I was ecstatic when I was asked to be their engagement & wedding photographer! Em is my SIL’s sister, and I love the way she is never afraid to tell is like it is. I got to meet her Joel last fall, and you could tell right away he was the one for her. I am so happy they have found each other, and I am so excited for these two to tie the knot in November! This good boy has chased lots of balls, squirrels, and cats in years past, but these days it takes most of his energy just to get up and say hello. Though, he still does, no matter what. His heart and mind want to go, but his legs just cannot keep up. Aunt Susie & Uncle Gary are treating him so well in his elder years, and they wanted to capture some special photos together while they still have him. It is the most selfless love to have a heart like theirs to care for their sweet boy the way they do. You’re a good boy, Kahne! Here’s the Schmidt Family! We happened to choose the best spring day for their photo session. Not too hot, not too cold, too early for bugs, and it worked to meet at one of my favorite river locations. I got to know Kayla & Foster when I captured their beautiful wedding last summer, and I was so excited to get to know their extended family. Thanks for having me capture these sweet moments, Schmidt Fam!! I got to photograph Matt & Lauren’s engagement and wedding photos a few years ago, and I was so honored to get to highlight their Silas’s first birthday! He is just the most darling little boy, and it was very bittersweet that he brought along his angel sister’s teddy bear. Knowing there is a child waiting for this family in heaven breaks my heart yet also gives me hope to someday spend eternity with our heavenly Father and those who have gone before us. What a precious family you have, Matt & Lauren! Baby girl Avery loves to be all cuddled up, but not with her arms in tight! She has the best big sister who is going to watch over her very closely and already loves her so much. I loved getting to capture these two sweet girls and their Mom & Dad with a lifestyle newborn shoot in the comfort of their own home. |
