My newest little nephew, Nash, turned three months old on the 18th.  He is quite the little dreamboat!  His mama thoroughly enjoys dressing him in the cutest outfits, bibs, booties, hats, wraps, binky holders and baby suspenders she can find.  As a three month old he is topping off the cuteness with a big dimply grin and sparkly eyes.  I heard from his big siblings that he is starting to roll, too.  My goodness, I told you he is a dream!
Happy first holidays, Nash, I am sure you will be dressed appropriately for each one!

Sweet Briar turned seven a couple weeks ago!  As my oldest niece and my Shelby’s closest pal, it is so fun to get a bird’s-eye view as Briar grows.  She is a helpful big sister to her younger siblings and has a very tender heart.  Briar loves dancing, showing me her earrings, playing with her baby dolls, reading and writing – such a smart little cookie!

I love to watch as families grow, and it was certainly a pleasure to see this family welcome #4 into theirs.  Meet Mr. Lextin!  Born on their last day of harvest, I am sure it was a huge sigh of relief to end the long season on the happiest note of adding him to the crew.  It is so fun to think they have already spent their first Thanksgiving as a family of six, and now they can all stay warm and cozy at home with the season’s first snow right outside their window.  Enjoy your first Christmas with your family too, Lextin Linc!

These two are quite a pair!  You can see it in Greg’s smile when he looks at Jen that he is beyond excited to make her his wife.  And Jen’s eyes sparkle when she looks at Greg.  They also have a very sweet proposal story to tell their children some day.  Greg proposed as they made wishes into a fountain while on vacation with Jen’s family at Disney World.  Talk about their ultimate wish coming true!  I feel honored to get to know both of them during their engagement, and I cannot wait to photograph their special day next June!  Congrats, you two!

These two…. the cutest couple award goes to Chris & Megan!  The way they looked into the stars in each other eyes had me swooning with all the country love songs running through my head.  I loved hearing the story of how Chris pulled off a surprise proposal at a pumpkin patch last fall – one of Megan’s favorite places!  We lucked out on finding the perfect spot for their fall engagement pictures just hours before the air cooled and this year’s crazy mid-October snow.  I am already looking forward to their autumn wedding next September!
