My sweet nephew, Nash, turned 6 months old a couple weeks ago! He is quite the peanut with all his facial expressions he’s making now, and his mama said he has a love for his feet….which he definitely showed in some of his poses. I love this baby stage when personality really starts to come alive, and he sure is a happy, smiley boy! Happy half birthday, Nash Henry!

My niece, Callie, turned 3 earlier this month! It is becoming quite clear that reading is one of her favorite hobbies, much like her mama. She was so cute as she snuggled into a few good books through her session and gave us some very sweet grins and giggles. Happy 3rd birthday, Callie Joy! Those big, brown eyes, kissable cheeks, and wrinkled, little nose gave me all sorts of “heart eyes” behind my camera. I could not stop giggling over his cuteness and how he would give me the most serious look one moment then, in a blink, he would be smiling and talking with his eyes. And, I just love those darling little red pants his mama chose for him. I’m lucky to get to call her my niece, and she is one of the Christmas babes in the Miller family. So, we make sure to celebrate her birthday a little extra special as not to get lost in the holidays. She definitely is a little peanut who leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes – a little bit of heaven everywhere. She is so fun to watch dance in pretty dresses and care for her dollies.
I knew going into a Schroeder wedding day, it was going to be wonderful, and Nolan & Tallie made it epically awesome! These two make such a great couple. Her smile lights up the room, and his sense of humor keeps everything calm and fun. Even the way their families come together is something special. From the moment I walked into the Schroeder farmhouse where the girls were getting ready, I felt like I got to be part of the family that day, and I am sure every other guest would also agree. They make you feel at home no matter where “home” may actually be. And though the couple may be starting their marriage together in another state, a piece of their heart can always come home to southern Nebraska. |
