Our Hadley is one! We are so, so blessed to have this brown-eyed sweetie in our family. She has been such a bright light to our life, especially given this very crazy past year. She is always there to greet us with a scrunchy-nosed grin, and it absolutely melts my heart when she comes wobbly-legged walking to me for a snuggle. She is so curious beyond her one year, and sometimes cannot understand why she can’t keep up with her big sister and brothers. Speaking of big sis, Shelby insisted on posing her on the pedal tractor in her John Deere outfit, and I couldn’t argue.
Happy first birthday dear Hadley girl! We all love you a whole bunch!

It was a beautiful day for William & Kaitlyn to finally get to say their vows surrounded by their friends and family. After a year that has dealt them more than their share of hardship, they are living proof that true love exists and what it looks like to really lean on each other to build a life. I pray that their strength together can always be a beacon of hope for us all.

I just love September when we still get glimpses of a summer sun, yet most days have a hint of fall in the air! We reach into our closets for warm, earthy-toned clothes, boots, scarves, and jackets. And, as I greet each family – both new and familiar faces – I think about their cozy homes and the photos we get to create to grace their walls. I hope the photos we capture are a blessing to each one of them to be enjoyed for years to come.

What a fun crew I got spend time with, and I even met some new faces on Sunday! I just love getting to be a “fly on the wall” when a whole, big family gets together like this. And then there were three! We have been praying and so excited for Miss Cora to join our extended family. We are so happy now that she is here, and I know her parents love and care for her beyond the moon. She has been such a ray of hope to many this year. I cannot wait to watch her grow and become little friend-cousins with my own babies.
