And the best part was getting to just hang out and play card games around the kitchen table for the rest of the afternoon. We all need a little more of that! Such beautiful little girls who loved to show me their twirls! Though the river was bone dry, we had such a fun time exploring and dancing our way through their photo session. I just loved the autumn colors their mama chose, and I also could not be prouder of her for setting her dreams into motion and opening a dance studio this fall! Those dreams have been in the works for some time, and I love the inspiration she is to me, her girls, and many others. Both of them have been down some really rocky roads that eventually lead to each other, and for that I am so grateful. Neither of them asks for much out of life – quality family time, flower pots to tend, mowers to tinker with in the garage. He liked to keep at least one eye on me! But, despite him wanting to stay awake for most of his sesh, I think we still ended up with an adorable gallery of him and his sweet parents who just love him to pieces.
