I had the privilege to meet Miss Bristal as a newborn little dolly just three months ago, and here she is now…all smiley and decked out for the holidays! What a sweetie she is from head to toe. And, she has the cutest collection of headbands a girl could ever have. I wish you a very merry first Christmas, Bristal, and I can’t wait to see you again in a few months!

Our precious boy is already half a year old! I’m nearly in tears as I think about it and how, early in my pregnancy with him, there was a chance that we almost didn’t get to meet him on this side of heaven. This little boy brings so much joy to our family, and I say that from the very bottom of my mama-heart. He is so patient with me as I plea for “just one more minute, I need to finish this” when he’s hungry, he sleeps through the night and always, always, always greets me with a smile. I don’t deserve this wonderful boy I get to call my son, but I’m sure glad our good Lord chose me to be his mama. I love you, Dawson Kevin!
Music: Snowflake, Snowflake, Little Snowflake by Super Simple Songs Our sweet little niece, Briar Ann, turned three about a week ago. She is the kindest and most gentle little girl ever. You rarely see her without her baby doll tucked under her arm, and she’ll be the first one to your rescue if you need a hug or smile. It’s such a joy to see her and my baby girl growing up together and learning how to be little ladies. Happy birthday, Miss Briar! You are precious!
Music: When You Wish Upon a Star, Disney’s “Pinocchio” I was incredibly blessed to have our family photographed a few weeks ago by the amazing Haley of Haley Sintek Photography from Clay Center, NE. With perfect weather, it was a blast returning the favor for her fun-filled family. The session was nothing but laughter, tickles and giggles as I got to know the Sintek Family. And, we could not help but take a few leaf throwing/wrestling breaks in between shots to keep the kiddos smiling. Haley, you are awesome with the camera and with your family. Thanks for giving me a glimpse into your world! I’m so grateful to have you as a nearby photog friend!
Music: Leave the Night On by Same Hunt Brent & Lichelle are engaged! On a perfect Saturday afternoon with buttery sun, no wind and no bugs, we finished up their session just before the first snow of the season. While getting to know them, I realized they have a bit of distance between their daily lives right now, and it reminds me of Ryan and I about five years ago. I am so excited for these two as their life will soon unfold into something wonderful together, every day. Congratulations, Brent & Lichelle. I cannot wait for your summer wedding next July!
