Mr. Landon wanted to show me his big catch…but fell asleep on me! That’s okay, it sounds like he has many more fishin’ days ahead with his grandpas. He will also have some farming and Husker cheering to enjoy, too. Through all that, I tell you what, he was calm, collected, and cute. I barely heard a peep from him all morning and only got one, tiny peek at his eyes.

I cannot remember a time during this session when we were not laughing! It felt just like when we were kids at the Wiechman farm playing “guns” in the barns, watching Si take over World of Warcraft on an original Apple using only key commands and drinking Sarsaparillas over a game of Monopoly or cribbage in Gpa & Gma Kolar’s basement. Ah, the good ol’ days. Simon is a cousin of mine, who, for too long, put up with me calling him “Cinnamon.” (Sorry about that!) And, now he’s got a beautiful little family of his own, and it is easy to see he is absolutely smitten for his girls. Jade, you’re an absolute sweetheart and so is Miss Violet! I love having you as a party of our family.
Music: Send Me on My Way, Rusted Root If I remember correctly, the Andersons moved to our community about the same time I did, and what a good addition they have made. They are genuinely some of the nicest people I have ever met, and they have raised their boys with good morals and values that make them great young men.
I know there is never a dull moment under the Oltmans’ roof! And, I love the different personalities that each of the children brings to the family. Other than the blonde hair and blue eyes no one of them is exactly like another. It has been fun to photograph them for the past three years, and I may just start putting bricks on their heads because they are all growing up way too fast! Happy fall, ya’ll!

Perfect little angel models all smiley, cute and well-behaved. Well done T + K, you have an adorable family! Judging from the smiles and giggles, I bet this family has a whole lot of fun together. It was wonderful to meet you all. May you always enjoy each other’s company!
