This beautiful couple tied the knot a few weeks ago on a beautiful April day.  There was so much thought, feeling and emotion put into every detail of the day.  A few times, you would have caught tears flowing behind my camera.  It is easy to see just how much these are into each other.  It is in the gentle way Dylan holds both his Krista and their sweet Aubrey.  And it’s in the kind affection Krista has toward Dylan in the way they communicate and have fun together.  I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Like typical Nebraska weather in March, it can be warm & sunny one day then cold & windy the next.  Last weekend was no exception when we had the Wiedel family photo session scheduled.  So, Janice and I decided to try to snap pictures in the barn to at least get us out of the wind, and am I ever glad we did!  With the big sliding door open to the east, lovely natural light poured in over the cozy hay bales and this awesome family.  Just on the other side of those bales I could hear a mama cow bellering for her calf and the aroma of all that alfalfa was delicious!  Ah, spring is here!  Enjoy, Wiedel family.

Somehow our little niece is already three months old! She is such a precious one and always has plenty of smiles to share.  And, we can all be very glad she is reaching this milestone around in the spring season.  Wait until you see how adorable she looks as a bunny!  Happy Easter, little lady!

I had the pleasure of meeting this little man last fall for his family’s photos, and I was thrilled to get to see him turn 1!  He has such a cute little go-getter personality.  He is not quite walking yet, but he can sure get where he needs to go.  And his bowtie at the end of his session is almost too much handsome to handle for one day – you’re warned!  And, of course we had to sneak in a few pictures of him with his beautiful mama!

It was an exceptionally warm February wedding day for a beautiful couple!  Jared & Sarah made their vows at Sarah’s home church, St. Mark’s in Lincoln, which may, in my opinion, have some of the most beautiful stained-glass windows I’ve ever seen.  There were two musical pieces played by the handbell choir during their ceremony.  This was an extra special detail as Sarah was, and still is occasionally, a member of the choir.  The day was full of laughter, hugs and even a few tears of joy as the toasts were said, the cake was cut and lots of dancing trailed off into the night.
