My first senior this season is….Morgan! We hit lots of meaningful spots for her – family barn, both her grandpas’ gorgeous backyard flower beds, an abandoned farm house where her family farms, and a b-e-a-u-tiful pasture at sunset! This girl, she’s just so great all around. She’s involved in so many activities, her church and the community, a small-town sweetheart for sure!

Meet the Schardt Family, soon to be party of four! Little Cameron is definitely a gentle-natured boy, especially for his age. He was a very good listener from the start, which makes me guess he is going to be a great helper and big brother when baby brother or sister arrives. Addie was such a trooper for coming out in the summer heat at 7.5 months pregnant, but she sure is glowing and beautiful! And, if Jeremy is anything like my farmer, I’m so glad he was able to take a break from all the irrigating so they could all be together to capture this moment of time before baby #2 arrives. I can’t to see if it’s a he or a she! Stay cool, you three!
Music: Cloud of Good Feelings Miss Iyla “Bean” is 6 months old this month! And, in good Iyla fashion, she’s full of smiles for the camera…especially when Mommy and Aunt Whitney are good and sweaty and ridiculously silly behind the camera. This girl though. Each time we take her pictures I keep thinking, “Okay, now this is her cutest phase”…but then she goes and gets even cuter! I mean, just look at this precious babe. There’s no way I could say no to that sweet face! Happy half birthday, girlie! Love you lots, like tator tots!
Music: Hey There Jellybean Meet the sweet, sweet Kaye-Skinner family! I loved their laid-back, up-for-anything personalities. I think their spunkiness really shine through in these photos. We had fun tromping through the tall grass and the kiddos were totally troopers about it. (I sometimes forget very tall grass can be eye level for small children.) As I drove up to the Betten’s, I couldn’t help but admire all the beautiful perennials and flower beds surrounding their home. I could have spent hours just admiring and discovering what was all planted there. But, I had such a fun time with the family instead! There was refreshing peace about them. Everyone was just enjoying the time together, finding new spots for pictures and playing with the kiddos – and Walter pup. Though the miles may separate them on a usual basis, you would never know it when they are together – everyone is just at home, together. Enjoy each other always, Betten Family!
