Say hello to the Shaner fam! This crew is always so fun to work with. From playdates with the kiddos at the park, to sampling Derek’s BBQ in the summer, to having Elizabeth as a mama friend and fellow photog to talk shop with, I am just so grateful to have this little family nearby. They are some of the most gracious and caring people, and I was so privileged to take their photos again this fall. Have a happy holiday season, Shaners!

It has been so much fun watching the Ramsey family grow since the littlest was still a bun in the oven. I blinked and somehow the kids are now in 2nd grade and Pre-school! How did that happen? The best part is, there is no shortage of fun in the Ramsey family, and I love how they all know not to take life too seriously and just enjoy being silly sometimes. Happy holidays, Ramseys! When Lacey contacted me just a couple weeks before the session date I was, first of all, so excited to get the chance to meet this new-to-me family, and second of all, so happy to be helping out a fellow farmer’s wife who had patiently waited for harvest to finish her farmer could and would be present for family photos. I first had the chance to photograph Miss Frankie back when she was around six months old, and now she is a sweet one-year-old and on the move! She was comfortable enough to let me carry her to our photograph location but she was not quite sure about smiling for the camera at first. By the end of the session, though, she was giggling and grinning and even gave us the most darling little wave. Happy belated 1st birthday, Frankie girl! Here are the Bettens! It has been so fun to watch them become a family of three then four, and now the kiddos are just little bursts of energy and love. We had a fun time running through the tall grass searching for just the right piece to pick, and the kids were all about group hugs for mom & dad. What a fun bunch! |
