I would like to introduce you to Miss Layla Lee! Just nine days new, she came into the studio with her big sister, Lennon. Big sis had the biggest smile on her face the whole time, especially when she got to hold baby sis for her own photo. And, the cherry on top was when Lennon pulled out “Mama P” and “Baby P” penguins whom she will be sharing with her own baby now. These two girls melted my heart!

At the end of the session, Brittany hopped onto Dru’s back for a few shots of just the two of them. To bring genuine smiles, I told Brit to whisper sweet nothings into his ear. I overheard her simply murmur, “I’m hungry!” We all burst out laughing. If that doesn’t scream the truth of more than a decade of marriage plus raising five kiddos then I don’t know what does! I love the authenticity of this family!

You just have to see little Miss Kathryn! Her mama requested a milk bath for her session, and I was so excited to deliver. Kathryn loved the grapefruit and pumpkins as teethers, and she was cute as a button splashing around the tub and poking her little toes out of the bath. And, just wait until you see this little sweetie in lace & overalls! Happy 6 months, little lady!

Here is the Carlson family! ‘Tis the season to see combines, grain carts, and trucks all over the place, and it is thanks to farmers like this who are dedicated to helping feed the world. It sure takes a village from a seasoned Grandpa to meal makers to a wide-eyed buddy seat rider to make harvest a success. I was very excited to get to capture these special photos for the whole family.
Congrats on an early finish. Now, on to fall field work, Carlsons!

A fun tradition of his grandparents, Lextin received his pedal tractor for his third birthday. Then, I got to capture some photos of him with it! Such a calm and quiet little guy, he posed perfectly for his pictures. And, we also had some fun with a baseball shirt he brought along, too!
Happy year of being three, Lextin!
