We played with the dog, test-drove her tractor, and did a little crop checking. Emery says we need more rain. Colton loves Becky! I’m kind of surprised it’s not written on the water tower in John Deere green, but we won’t hold it against you, Colton! The reception toasts were spot on, stating that Colton just adores everything about Becky, her strong work ethic and willingness to learn and be involved in all the things on the farm. And on the flip side, Becky is a strong independent woman who doesn’t necessarily need a man to make her life complete, but she loves him so much and simply wants to be standing right next to Colton as life partners, through the good times and bad. These two make such a great couple. I would like you to meet little Waylen. Born at the tail-end of winter, he sure brings light to this dark, cold time of year. He was as snug as a bug in a rug as long as we kept him swaddled, and he gave us some dapper grins along the way. Big brother, Wells, is learning what it is like to share mom & dad, but you can see that he loves his baby bro, and I have a feeling they will be best buds soon. Precious as can be, this little Valentine adds so much love to her family of four. Her big sister absolutely adores her, as does the entire family. She was so content throughout her entire session, and we hardly heard a peep from her. This sweet girl decided to be birthday buddies with both me and Abe Lincoln. And her namesake gives special tribute to her great uncle and great-grandmother. I would like to introduce you to sweet Lacie Ann. She is every bit as content as she looks, and she is quite the snuggle bug, too. I just adore this little family of three! Having photographed her mama as a high school senior, then her parents’ engagement and wedding, it is an absolute honor for me to get to capture so many precious milestones in their life. |
