I have had the pleasure of working with the Befort family a few times in the past, and I’m still amazed each time just how quickly kiddos grow! It seems like just yesterday I was meeting them for the first time. Then, little Stella-bean was wearing a fuzzy, winter vest, and this year she has grown into a little lady in a beautiful dress. And we won’t even talk about how many inches tall Blake has grown!

The Voss family holds a special place in my heart, and I’m so thankful that life is crossing our paths more and more as our kids grow. They are wonderful co-leaders of our 4-H Club and our kids have a blast caring for each others’ animals and running the fairgrounds together during fair week. We’ve got a couple of them in the same sports activities and even classmates. AND, this year Tara has taken on a new role as a teacher in our district and is absolutely crushing it! Have a fun and safe harvest, Vosses!

I had a great time photographing the entire Culbertson crew! I love how they pulled off the browns and neutrals with jeans color scheme for their autumn photos shoot. And, even a couple of the family dogs got to tag along and be in a few of the photos, because of course they are part of the family, too!

Oh the Melvins – sturdy and strong, yet kind and gentle with a smidge of ornery. Each year we visit this beautiful spot along their creek, usually with cows hanging out in the background. It’s like a little piece of heaven on earth where the kids can run wild and the sun is always shining. I’ve loved watching each of the kids grow, and now there’s a fifth little guy in the mix, and he keeps right up with the bigger kids. Happy fall Melvins, and may the memories made in this place always hold dear in your heart.

I am so glad the Shaner family decided to put down their roots in Davenport years ago. Seeing their family grow and thrive is such a joy. And I love that our kiddos are similar ages and a couple of them are even classmates! I can’t wait for all the fun moments we have ahead of us!
