The sweetest little boy came to see me for his newborn photos last week, but he was less than thrilled to have his picture taken. He liked to keep at least one eye on me! But, despite him wanting to stay awake for most of his sesh, I think we still ended up with an adorable gallery of him and his sweet parents who just love him to pieces. Welcome to the world, Derek Brett! You’re wise in keeping an eye on things!

Cora Leigh is 4! It has been so fun to watch this little lady grow up as family and a bestie to our youngest. I love to see how curious and inquisitive she is and takes on the role as big sister very seriously and very well. It was really sweet, the girls had a tea party as part of her session, and it was so cute to watch Cora teach her little sis how to properly have a tea party. Happy 4th birthday, Cora girl!

Meet the Werner fam! We met in one of my favorite spots on a beautiful August morning for their family photo shoot. I love how the early sun peeks through the cottonwood trees. And, one of my favorite shots is when the littlest is peeking back at me as the rest of the family walks away.
What a beautiful crew you have, Werner family!

Maia was just a little girl when I moved to Davenport, and she has grown into a beautiful, intelligent young woman. We share the same church family, and I have enjoyed having her there as an example for my kiddos to look up to. We had fun exploring her family’s tree farm and finding buttery soft pockets of sun to really make her photos shine. I wish you the best senior year, Maia!

You’re not seeing double, this is Campbell’s twin sister, Kinzley! My first ever set of twin senior girls, these were two really fun sessions for me. I wanted to make sure we captured both sisters in each’s own unique way. It was so fun to see Kinzley’s personal style come to life with ruffles, florals, and big pink bow. She too is a very talented volleyball player, and I cannot wait to watch the girls this fall!
I hope you have an awesome senior year, Kinz, and I thoroughly enjoyed being your photographer!
