Sweet-cheeks Emily is nearly one!  It seems like just yesterday I was meeting her as an eight-day-old, squishy newborn!  I have so enjoyed watching this precious little girl grow through her first year.  She is always full of smiles and blinks with sparkly eyes!  She is a lucky little girl, too, because she gets to share her birthday week with her daddy.  I imagine they’ll have many cake & candle-blowing pictures together as she grows!

Inked on both their wrists is a verse that says it all.  These two young people have already weathered a few big storms together, and though I can’t promise there won’t be more, it is by faith they are saved from those storms.  I so admire how they do not let those times define them, rather, their love does.  I wish you all the best, Dylan and Krista, and I cannot wait for your spring wedding next year!

It is so fun when a best friend and her hub are expecting their first child.  My girlfriends and I threw them a cute shower a couple weeks ago, and I got a chance to love on that belly (because best friends have that privilege, right!) and shower her with all sorts of fun things for that little bun in the oven.  Rachelle’s the cutest thing with her growing little basketball belly, and she’s been a trooper through all the not-so-fun moments that come with being pregnant.  I can tell she and Jon are going to be great parents.  I am over the moon for both of them as they are about to begin a new chapter in their marriage!  Love you two – soon to be three!

I have had the pleasure of photographing this little dolly through all her baby milestones.  I have loved watching her grow and learn new things along the way.  She is always such a happy, smiley little one, and I cannot get enough of her baby chubs!  And her hot pink, sparkly #1 smash cake…
It took her no time to dig in, and she even shared some with me after our shoot – delicious!

I met both Brian & Amanda in college around the time when they first starting dating, and we became lifelong friends.  Amanda has been  by my side for some of the greatest heartaches and greatest joys of my life, and Brian is like an older brother I never had.  One of those greatest joys has been walking through the early years of motherhood with this pretty mama.  Our sweet boys were born less than two weeks apart, and though we live an entire state away,  I love the days when it takes only a phone call to pick right back up where we left off.  It warmed my heart to photograph all four of them – including Towser pup!
