Spunky little Iyla”bean” is two!  Her mama found this cute little outfit for pictures, and we joked that she makes a classic little German girl wearing her lederhosen!  And, her outgoing personality highlights it perfectly.  You will see, she can be quite the silly one, and that is why we love her – dimples, blonde piggies, knee-high socks and all!
Happy 2nd birthday, Iyla, I can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Miss Violette is six months old!  She is the prettiest little blue-eyed babe and sitting up with all the confidence in the world.  I predict soon she’ll be trying to crawl, too!  Her big siblings are such great helpers, and each gave it his or her best to get her smile, along with her mama and I, but she was a bit reluctant to dole them out too much.  Though, with those sparkling eyes carefully studying everything around her, I think she is pretty darn cute even without a big smile.  However, we did manage to catch a few smirks!
Happy half birthday, dolly!

Welcome to the world, sweet Landen!  Just a couple weeks before Christmas, this little boy became his family’s best gift ever.  He is quite perfect with his little lips all tucked in, long little finders and bright, wonder-filled eyes we got to see on occasion.  Big brother Hayden loves him, too, but he’s juuuust not quite sure if he’s ready to show it to the rest of us.
Happy first Christmas little one!  May all your dreams be light!

Meet the Follmer Family!  While everyone was home for the holidays, Grandma Kathy invited me over to capture their family pictures! It was a tad windy that afternoon, but thankfully it didn’t seem to bother anyone much.  The warm sunlight was just right as it streamed through the trees and into the backyard. The kids had a fun time playing hide & seek in between shots that included them.  They were each so kind and polite to each other!  It was a fun way to spend an afternoon with this sweet family.  Happy holidays, Follmers!

Meet the Biltofts!  Harvest and cold weather could not stop us from getting some really great family pics this fall.  When discussing potential locations, Lindsey mentioned them having a pretty little driveway with some leaves still hanging on and lots of pines.  Am I ever glad I took her up on it, because the tall pines were so cozy, and the leaves were just right for rolling in and tossing in the air!  And, one of the cutest parts was at the end of the shoot, I went back to get my camera bag and saw big brother teaching little brother how to throw pine cones.
Happy Holidays, Biltoft Family!
